Nestled in the serene landscapes of Ashland, Oregon, Wilderness Haven Park is a sanctuary dedicated to conserving and celebrating our planet’s most magnificent creatures. Our park spans over 1500 acres in the rolling hills of Southern Oregon, providing a home to more than 200 species of animals, each thriving in environments that mirror their natural habitats.
Our Story
Wilderness Haven Park was founded in 2012 by environmentalist and entrepreneur Dr. Sarah Hartley. Inspired by the diverse wildlife and temperate climate of the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Hartley envisioned a place where people could connect with nature and understand the importance of preserving our planet’s rich biodiversity. At Wilderness Haven Park, we aim to inspire a deeper understanding and appreciation of wildlife through immersive experiences and world-class conservation programs. We strive to protect endangered species, conduct groundbreaking research, and educate the public about each species’s vital role in our ecosystem.
