the waves New Layer After taking out a loan Jack, Dante and Scott opened up Azul's first store in the heart of Honolulu, Hawaii. Surfers came from all over the world to buy Azul's affordable, and fashionable gear.
Azul soon expanded to 20 countries, and currently has over 500 stores.

Scott started surfing when he was 21. At the age of 23 he became a pro. He won his first gold medal in California when he was 25.Scott wanted to share his passion for surfing with fellow surfers. He wanted to create affordable gear so that everyone could become a surfer. With the help of fellow professional
surfer Jack and Dante Hill he created his first wet suit and a limited collection of surf boards. The trio would head to the major surfing spots in Hawaii to sell their gear.
